Margaret Thatcher’s life featured in online exhibition

LINCOLNSHIRE-raised Margaret Thatcher has once again come into the nation’s consciousness with the new film ‘The Iron Lady’ hitting the big scene this month and now she is being featured in an online exhibition on the website Linc to the Past.

Jonathan Platt, head of libraries and heritage, said: “The exhibition covers Mrs Thatcher’s childhood and education and then takes you through her political career.

“It’s the perfect way to find out more about the real-life story behind the movie.”

The website documents a thousand years of local history and can be found at www.lincstothepast.com.
