Man seriously injured after car crash in Thurlby

A MAN has been seriously injured in a car crash.

The 43-year-old was a passenger in a black Volkswagon Passat when it collided with a white Renault panel van on the A15 at Thurlby just before 1.10pm on Saturday.

The man, from Deeping St Nicholas, was taken to Peterborough City Hospital before being transferred to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.

The Passat driver, a 47-year-old man from Langtoft, suffered facial cuts. The van driver, a 28-year-old man from Bourne, was uninjured.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash. Anyone with information should call 101.
