Drop-in sessions on planned South Kesteven District Council tax increase

People have the chance to have their say on a council’s proposals to increase its share of the council tax bill.

South Kesteven District Council wants to add an extra £5 a year to the bill for band D homes.

This would mean a band D resident would have to pay a little under 10p extra per week.

A drop-in session on the proposals will be held from 2pm to 5pm on Monday at The Deepings Community Centre in Douglas Road, Market Deeping.

A second session will be held from 2pm to 5pm the following day at Guildhall Arts Centre in Grantham.

For full details on the proposals visit the council’s website. To have your say, click on “What do you think of this?” at the bottom of the page.

*A previous article carried the wrong dates for the drop-in sessions. This was due to incorrect information provided by the council.
