Alan Wood murder latest: CCTV footage released
CCTV footage has been released in the hunt for Alan Wood's killer.
Mr Wood, 50, was found dead at his home in Lound, near Bourne, on Saturday, October 24.
He had been subjected to a sustained attack with a sharp implement.
CCTV images showing a possible suspect in this investigation ahve now been released by officers.
The images are the result of extensive analysis of card transactions on Mr Wood's account and a painstaking trawl of many hours of footage.
Clip 1 shows the possible suspect walking in High Street in Stamford on Saturday at 9.15am.
Clip 2 shows the man then using a cash machine at NatWest in High Street just seconds later.
Clip 3 shows the possible suspect stood at the same cash machine in High Street, Stamford, the following day, Sunday, October 25, at 2.58pm.
Det Supt Stuart Morrison said: "We want people to really study these images.
"Look at the clothes, the build of the man, the way he walks. Does he remind you of anyone you know, a friend, an acquaintance even relative?
"Rremember this is a murder inquiry. A family in our community has been devastated by the offender's actions.
"If you have any information, or any suspicions about anyone you know then please call us.
"You may also have served this man in a shop, bar or caf, again please contact us if you think you have."
