Adults across Lincolnshire are being encouraged to banish the booze for 31 days in support of Dry January.

More than two million people went booze-free in January 2015 and plenty of support is available for those thinking of taking on the challenge in 2016 which encourages people to talk about alcohol and supports them to think about the way they drink.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust and the Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Groups are all promoting the Dry January campaign across the
county.

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s dedicated Drug and Alcohol Recovery Team, known as Dart, provides support and treatment for adults experiencing drug or alcohol problems across the county. You can refer yourself directly to the team by dropping into the resource centre in Grantham, by phone on 01476 591233 or e-mail grantham.dart@nhs.net, or by visiting your doctor.
