Letter: Dance success
RE: The dinner/dance held on Saturday, May 8, from 8pm until midnight at The Robert Manning College.
Firstly please let me thank everyone who gave so generously and helped in very many ways to make the evening such a success.
Everyone enjoyed a special mix of ballroom and swing jive music from the excellent DJ Chad, a two-course supper and raffle and generally making lots of new friends.
The black and white dress theme looked magic.
We are very pleased to say we raised another 740 towards the DVD film of Local Heritage (the two dances have raised approximately 2,000).
As our Robert Manning students now look to be making the film, the TV director has agreed to help by e-mail, phone and hopefully a visit to the college.
