Email forms deleted as spam

I emailed my Gypsy and Traveller comments form to SKDC, but when I didn't receive a confirmation that they had received it, I rang them.

They could not find my email. It turns out that their automatic system had identified it as spam and therefore blocked it.

If I had not rung to check, my comments would not have been included in the public consultation. How many more emails have they "lost"?

The Council encouraged the public to respond by email, yet they claim to have received only 400 emails, compared to 1,000 paper forms. How many emails has their system blocked?

The council claims it is now going to check through the "spam" emails, but how long does their system keep them before automatically deleting them permanently?

Will the council be able to retrieve all the blocked emails sent over the last six weeks?

If they can't will they allow the public to re-submit their forms even though the public consultation period is now closed?
