Voice your thoughts on health trust foundation plans for Lincolnshire
LINCOLNSHIRE’s community health service wants your views on its plans to become a foundation trust.
The Government wants all NHS trusts like the Lincolnshire Community Health Services Trust to become foundation trusts by 2014.
The Lincolnshire trust has chosen to become a foundation trust from April 2013.
Becoming a foundation trust will allow the organisation to recruit members and governors to influence and scrutinise its performance.
Trust chairman Dr Don White said: “Becoming a foundation trust will enable us to be more flexible and responsive to local people’s needs.”
The trust wants to know what people think of the plans.
