Stamford St Martin’s Rotary have recently been given 300 Easter eggs by Sainsbury’s in Stamford which have been donated to the Evergreen Care Trust and Stamford Home Start.

Evergreen was delighted with this donation it meant that they were able to surprise some of their members with a very special chocolate Easter egg. In addition Stamford Hospital agreed that Evergreen could promote their services to visitors and patients by giving everyone a copy of Evergreen Leaves and a delicious egg!

Rosie Maclennan, volunteer and marketing co-ordinator and Yvette Powell, befriender lead for Evergreen dressed as Easter rabbits and had a very successful day. They are pictured above with their eggs.

Rosie said: “How privileged we felt to be giving out Easter eggs to those currently in the excellent care of the John Van Geest Unit and visitors to Stamford Hospital. It was an incredible day and great to talk to people keen to get involved in the work of Evergreen. Special thanks goes to Sainsbury’s, Stamford St Martin’s Rotary and the staff at Stamford Hospital.”
