PUPILS have taken part in an Olympics masterclass as part of their business and enterprise development.

The workshop at Baston Primary School was led by staff from The Deepings School in Deeping St James, on Thursday last week.

The afternoon involved designing and making a product for the Olympics, ahead of the games this year.

Those taking part had to make their product, create a finance sheet and business name and give a presentation.

Year 6 pupils Daniel Edwards and Niamh Brown took part. Daniel, 11, said: “We really enjoyed the masterclass and thought it was very helpful.

Niamh, 10, added: “We learnt new facts about the Olympics, budgeting and business management.”
