Morton Pre-school celebrates 40th anniversary

Staff and children at a pre-school are celebrating its 40th birthday.

Morton Pre-School, in High Street Morton, has been running since 1972, and on Wednesday children and staff enjoyed a party cake, games, and party bags.

Admin worker Brenda Hammond, who’s worked at the school since it opened, said: “We had a big party with all the children which was nice with the school decorated for the Chinese New Year. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

“It has changed a lot over the years but it’s down to the staff it has done so well.”
