They were selected by a process which included involvement by the outgoing head pupils.
Headteacher Jonathan Maddox is delighted with the appointments for the school, in South Road, Bourne.
He said: “The head students play a major role in the school - running the student council, managing the team of prefects, showcasing the school at the major public events and speech night and meeting regularly with me.”
The new head boy is Ewan Jones, 17.
He said: “It’s a privilege to be chosen for the role, I hope I fulfil my role to the best of my abilities.”

Monday, January 23, 2012 at 12:53 PMSo, the school can now attract even more students; that was very nice of LCC to allow them to expand. Now, how about the poor souls of Austerby and surrounding areas that are set to be blighted by even more student cars racing around and parking all day along their roads. How about LCC doing something meaningful for them; how about insisting, as part of expansion, that they (BGS) provide parking on their own land, for those they attract? The residents have been asking for help for a decade, in the mean-time they are lucky if they can park anywhere near their homes and are often blocked out of their own drives. So, over to you LCC, SKDC and even Bourne Town Council, what do you intend to do to solve the ongoing, unsightly and avoidable row between residents and school? Anyone???
