Teachers and pupils at a school are celebrating after excelling in a recent Ofsted report.
Langtoft Primary School has been rated as good by inspectors, much to the delight of its staff.
In its previous Ofsted report, the school was judged to be satisfactory.
The school has worked hard in improving standards and as a result it has achieved its best ever Key Stage 2 results in writing, with 97 per cent of pupils reaching the expected national standard of Level 4.
Chair of governors Paul Hornsby said: “This outcome is only a stepping stone on our journey to become an outstanding school. To make further progress we will need to fully embed the high standards of teaching we now expect and deliver them consistently.”
Headteacher James McCullough said: “We are proud of what our children achieve.”
