The whole school was involved in our Sport Relief Challenge on Friday, March 21.

Children from Reception through to Year 6 came to school in their favourite sports kit to take part in a whole day of sports challenges.

The challenges set for the children were to complete the mile run/walk, to take on the Batak Board reaction test, to test their throwing and catching skills in the Crazy Catch, to complete the agility ladders and speed bounce activities.

They also took part in basketball and football penalty shoot outs and tried their best dance moves on the electronic dance mats.

Mrs Clare Ladley, the PE Leader at Bourne Abbey said that it had been a fantastic day of fun filled sports and all the children had risen to the challenges.

As always the children went to a lot of effort to collect sponsorship money for Sport Relief and raised a staggering £1383.68!
