Today we held a ‘Be Bright Day’ to emphasise the importance of being clearly seen on the way to and from school.

Pupils and staff dressed up in their own clothes and tried to be the brightest person; there was a winner in every year group. Everyone looked amazing and Mrs Edwards looked very bright in her stripey jacket and trainers.

PCSO Jay came to school and took an assembly for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 about Road Safety. He told us how important it is to be seen, whilst being out and about on the roads.

All in all this was a fun day -we also learnt a valuable lesson about road safety.

We are now running a competition for the pupils to design their own ‘hi-vis’ vests.
