A schoolgirl has high hopes for a career in public relations after winning a press release competition.
Bourne Grammar School pupil Mia Chitty, pictured left, was one of a group of Year 9s to take part in a careers day last month.
As part of the day, pupils were invited to write a press release promoting the event by Bourne firm N.B. Marketing Ltd.
Mia was judged to have written the best release and was rewarded with a £15 Amazon voucher by marketing director Barbara Spiller.
Mia’s press release included a wealth of details about the activities pupils took part in during the careers day.
Mia, from Morton, picked out individual case studies and quoted pupil Keira Upton, who said: “I thought that careers day was very interesting and it made me realise that there are so many careers I didn’t know about or had considered.”
