School pupils are reaping the benefits of having touch-screen technology installed into each of their classrooms.

Children of all ages at Bourne Abbey Primary Academy can use the Clevertouch screens to bring their learning experience to life.

The screens have already been used to watch information clips and for the children to take part in numeracy and literacy activities.

Information technology manager Christine Rice said: “New technology is second nature to our digital age children and this is certainly the case with the range of technology resources at Bourne Abbey which is integrated into the curriculum.

“The new classroom screens are an invaluable resource which enhances the children’s learning in a fun and interactive way.”

The resolution and high brightness of the new screens means that images are clearly visible, unlike projection based interactive equipment which has been used previously.
