Members of two photographic clubs have celebrated continued success.
Deepings Camera Club took part in a Lincolnshire Photographic Association competition and came top of the 12 competing clubs and Stamford Photographic Society marked the end of another fairly successful year with its annual meeting.
l Deepings Camera Club submitted ten digital images in the competition, with two being awarded a perfect score of 20 by the very experienced judge.
These were Sanderling by Ken Bunch and Leader at the Bend by Peter Lawrence.
The quality of the latter was further recognised when Peter was awarded the goblet which is presented to the photographer who has produced the best image of the whole competition.
The club also won the event with a score of 173 points, twelve points clear of its nearest rival.

l At Stamford Photographic Society’s annual meeting, chairman John Hillier reported on yet another fairly successful year. He said the standard of work presented by members was high and continued to improve.
David Townshend won the Walkers Books and the George Hotel Cups and was awarded Licentiateship status by the Royal Photographic Society.
The October competition On the Street was won by Sue Haynes from Stamford.
