Police have identified the body of a woman discovered in Market Deeping in September.
Today (Wednesday), police officially identified the woman as Sharon Hurlstone, 54, of Towngate East, Market Deeping.
Mrs Hurlstone was reported missing by her family on August 26.
Her body was found by a dog walker on land off Northfield Road, Market Deeping, between the A1175 to Spalding Road and Swine’s Meadow Road, on September 24.
Mrs Hurlstone was named after lengthy enquires taking more than two months due to complications with identification.
Police said there are no suspicious circumstances to her death.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned for a date yet to be fixed.
Police said all normal inquiries had been carried out when Mrs Hurlstone was reported missing but following her identification officers are now carrying out a review to ensure correct practices were followed.
