Police have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with several incidents involving young people being approached in the Deepings.
Officers made the arrest this morning (Tuesday) and the suspect, from the Deepings area, is currently being questioned.
The arrest follows five reports of children and teenagers being approached by van drivers in less than a week.
Between November 27 and December 3 youngsters aged 11 to 17 were approached in Thackers Way and Millfield Road in Market Deeping, and Burchall Close and Crowson Way, Deeping St James.
Police have urged parents and young people to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity in the area. They have also asked parents to continue giving their children common sense stranger danger advice. Tips can be found on the Lincolnshire Police website.
