An E-fit image has been released of a male who could have been a valuable witness to a sexual assault in Market Deeping.

Detective Constable Matthew Wright said: “Lincolnshire Police is appealing for this male to come forward as he may be valuable witness in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in Market Deeping on August 5 2016.”

Police originally treated the case as an indecent exposure but are now pursuing the more serious charge of sexual assault.

The incident happened around 4pm in the alleyway between Kesteven Drive and Tattershall Drive.
