Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 1

Lauren Pell, 20, of Northumberland Avenue, Stamford, was found guilty of driving without insurance and otherwise in accordance with a licence in New Road, Crowland, on July 7, 2014. She was fined £165, ordered to pay costs of £150 and a victim surcharge of £20, and had six points put on her licence.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, July 1

Martin Hogarth, 36, of Great Close, South Witham, admitted possessing a syringe of heroin in Melton Mowbray on June 9 and stealing razor blades worth £50 from Boots in Melton Mowbray on May 13. He was ordered to have treatment for drug dependency, pay compensation of £25, a criminal courts charge of £180, a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £20.

Shaun Dalby, 46, of Newtown Crescent, Uppingham, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm in Pillings Road, Oakham, on January 8. He was given a 26-week prison sentence, suspended for a year, put under supervision and ordered to pay compensation of £500.

Victoria Welton, 37, of St Mary’s Road, Manton, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen when asked, driving without insurance and otherwise in accordance with a licence on June 13. She was disqualified from driving for 20 months, fined £325, ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £150, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £33.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, July 3

Daniel Smith, 25, of Lawrence Road, Wittering, admitted failing to identify a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Cottesmore on September 5, 2014. He was fined £450, ordered to pay costs of £225 and a victim surcharge of £45, and had six points put on his licence.

Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, July 4

Alan Skippins, 55, of Church Street, Stamford, admitted drink driving in High Street, Stamford, on May 18. He gave a reading of 115 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was given an interim driving disqualification ahead of sentence.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 8

Blerim Metalia, 33, of Kings Road, Stamford, admitted failing to identify a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence on August 29, 2014. He was fined £225, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £23, and had six points put on his licence.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 13

Lorraine Penham, 48, of Uffington Road, Stamford, admitted driving without insurance, driving with insufficient tyre tread, and without all lights and registration plates in working order in Market Deeping on September 16, 2014. She was fined £400, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £40, and had six points put on her licence.

Harry Calderbank, 23, of Spalding Road, Deeping St James, was found guilty of assaulting a woman in Wellington Way, Market Deeping, on February 24 while subject to a suspended sentence. He was jailed for three weeks and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Anthony White, of Ranksborough Hall, Langham, was found guilty of breaching a caravan site licence by failing to provide certification of the electrical installation at Old Leake Leisure Park when called for, and without reasonable excuse. He was fined £1,000, ordered to pay costs of £435 and a victim surcharge of £100.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 20

Nicholas Ferreira, 26, of St Eabba’s Close, Ryhall, admitted using threatening words or behaviour towards another person in Red Lion Street, Stamford, on June 26. He was fined £400, ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £150, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £40.

William Saunders, 39, of Swallow Hill, Bourne, admitted driving without insurance in Thurlby on June 26. He was disqualified from driving for six months, fined £325, ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £150, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £33.

Lydon Smithers, 26, of Bath Close, Bourne, admitted drink driving in The Pollards, Bourne, on June 25. 
He gave a reading of 74 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months, fined £350, ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £150, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £35.

Daniel Pethers, 25, of Hammond Close, Wittering, admitted using threatening words or behaviour in Morton on March 11. He was given a three-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, July 27

Jonathan Barrett, 34, of Burghley Close, Stamford, admitted taking a vehicle without consent and crashing it, driving without insurance and otherwise in accordance with a licence, and failing to answer bail. He also admitted two counts of theft from supermarkets in Stamford. He was ordered to take part in a rehabilitation programme, pay compensation of £24 and a victim surcharge of £60, fined £50 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, July 29

Richard Spall, 30, of Chestnut Gardens, Stamford, was found guilty of failing to identify a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He was fined £660, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £66, and had six points put on his licence.
