Former New College Stamford animal management student Rosie Drew is becoming a poster girl for international apprenticeships after travelling across the globe to work with endangered birds.

Rosie has been as far afield as Italy and New Orleans as she continues her studies.

She said: “I feel that the experience with the hummingbirds and cranes, both of which are extremely difficult to keep in captivity, alongside the broad experiences gained at college have made me a top candidate when being considered for internships.”
