Stamford artist Karen Neale’s exhibition of sketches of World Heritage cities and sites held at the Arts Centre inspired people to create over 100 beautiful buildings to add to a large scale map of a fictitious heritage town.

‘Making a Magical Metropolis - a Heritage Haven for the Future’ was the heart of the exhibition and encouraged people to think about how important beautiful buildings are.

Members of Stamford Civic Society had the difficult task of choosing the most notable buildings created by visitors. The society’s chairman Gwyneth Gibbs said all the buildings demonstrated creativity and imagination. The winners were Georgie Richardson and Lottie and Bella Bromley.
