Bookmakers robbed

A CASH safe was stolen from a bookmakers in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
Police were called to Coral bookmakers on West Street, Bourne, at around 2.45am.
The amount of money in the safe has not been confirmed but police believe the thieves made their getaway in a silver coloured 5-door hatchback, possibly a Honda and are looking for a car with the registration number FL05LXS or similar.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen suspicious activity to call police on 01522 532222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
