Traditional folk band to play at the Barn
THE High Level Ranters, featuring Johnny Handle, Colin Ross and Jim Hall will be performing in The Barn, Baston on Thursday, October 22.
They have been playing traditional music and songs from the north east of England for the past 30 years and for many years were the only group to include the Northumbrian pipes in their performances.
Their unique sound is produced by combinations of the small pipes, fiddle, accordion, tin whistle and the piano. The concert starts at 8pm and support will be provided by Scottish singer, Christine Hendry.
