Steele stars as Orbison
GO Coast to Coast with Barry Steele as Roy Orbison.
Barry Steele will be appearing as Orbison at Bourne Corn Exchange on Friday, September 18 (8pm).
When Roy Orbison died in 1988, it was left to others to bring his music to the concert stage – no easy task – but Barry Steele comes with good credentials and a genuine admiration for his idol.
He performed to rave reviews in the hit show Rockin on Heavens Door, before leaving in April 2009 to concentrate on his own shows.
He has been described by The Stage newspaper as "true identikit brilliance" and has toured extensively across the United Kingdom, Denmark, New Zealand, Holland, Belgium and Germany.
Joining Barry is Garry Slade with his tribute to the British heart throb and legend Billy Fury and Steve Wicketts as the bad boy of Rock and Roll, Jerry Lee Lewis.
