Cheers to beer festival

THE ninth annual Ripping-Ale Beer Festival will be held on Friday, September 4, (6pm - 11pm), Saturday 5 (12am - 11.30pm) and Sunday 6 midday onwards on the village playing field.

A variety of bands will be playing during the weekend including The Les Woods Band, Packman Quack!, Cath Lack, Dan Perrin, new up and coming singer Ben Anty and resident guitarist Eddie Lunn.

There will be 22 real ales, eight ciders plus lager. Along with soft drinks and sweets and a barbecue.

The two large marquees will ensure that everyone stays warm and dry if the weather is bad. Admission is free and proceeds will be donated to Macmillan Nurses, The Heart Foundation and LIVES First Responders.
