Acoustic Strawbs stop off at school on February 10
MEMBERS of a classic 1970s international folk-rock band will give a concert at Bourne Grammar School on Friday next week.
David Cousins, Dave Lambert, and Chas Cronk of the hugely successful group The Strawbs, regularly tour together as Acoustic Strawbs.
During the early 1970s The Strawbs scored chart success in Britain with albums such as Grave New World and Bursting at the Seams.
From the mid-1970s the group concentrated on the United States and Canada where albums such as the classics Hero and Heroine and Ghosts spent more than 52 weeks on the Billboard charts.
The Grammar School concert starts at 7.30pm.
