Staff and pupils parking in centre users' spaces

I am a regular user of Bourne Leisure Centre and attended my Aquatone class as usual.
On arrival I went to the car park and three circuits later went to park in Queen's Road.

It is obvious that while the school car park is out of commission staff and pupils of Robert Manning Technology College are using parking designated for the leisure centre.

As school starts well before class we don't stand a chance of parking.

On that day it was compounded by the fact that a large area was cordoned off for a bus turning area.

There are only a few buses a day and surely they can back into the one way system before emerging forward onto the road. This in itself would enable 12-15 spaces to become available.

The class is about 30-strong on a Monday morning, predominantly women of a certain age, several of whom are disabled.

As there are only two disabled bays, they need to be able to park closer than Queen's Road.

One solution would be to ban students from taking their vehicles onto the site, making them street park and walk in. After all, they are fit and able. We, on the other hand, may not be so sprightly.
