THE National Theatre will be bringing a live performance of Nation to the Stamford Arts Centre stage on Saturday 30 Jan.
Suitable for children aged 10 years and above the play is an adaptation of the novel by Terry Pratchett set during 1860 in a parallel world.

Two teenagers are thrown together by a tsunami that has destroyed Mau's village on a South Pacific Island and left Daphne shipwrecked thousands of miles from home.

The life they knew couldn't have been more different, one wears next to nothing, the other a long white dress and neither speaks the other's language but somehow they must learn to survive by any means possible.

Tickets are £10 or £9 for National Theatre members. Contact the box office on 01780 763203.
