TWO choirs will join forces to sing all the right notes on behalf of Bourne's Willoughby School on Saturday, May 17.
Glebe Singers, based at Market Deeping, and Canatrici, from Peterborough, will sing a range of popular music at Barn Hill Methodist Church, in Stamford, starting at 7.30pm.

Chairman of the Glebe Singers, David Scoffield, said: "We are delighted to be raising money for the Willoughby School, and to be singing together with Canatrici. We feel it is a good way to raise money for this very worthy cause, and we hope people will come along and support this event."

Glebe Singers was formed in 1999 and has a wide following, performing several times a year.

With more than 50 members, it has a wide repertoire of music, and is pledged to raise the profile of choral singing. It is also committed to charity fundraising and in 2007 raised £1,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Canatrici was formed ten years ago and is a 20-strong female choir performing regularly throughout East Anglia and the Peterborough area, and has won awards at the Peterborough Choir Festival, and at the Peterborough and Oundle Music Festivals.

Tickets for the concert (£6 adults, £1 children) are available from Mr Cobbler, Rainbow Precinct, Market Deeping; from Barn Hill Methodist Church; from choir members or at the door.
