SWEETHEART cookies and Valentine cakes were among the treats at Billingborough Primary School's disco on the eve of Valentine's Day.
Prepared by members of the Healthy Heroes group and teacher Andrea McCormack, the youngsters had been extremely busy making refreshments to sell and calculating the cost of ingredients and the expected profit.

The School Council decorated the hall and planned dance contests with prizes for the winning children.

Mrs McCormack said: "The Valentine disco was a great success and an enjoyable treat for the children and staff at the end of the term.

"The Healthy Heroes were very proud to be selling their cookies and cakes. Our next disco will be at Easter when the Healthy Heroes will once again make Easter themed refreshments."
