FORTY members and guests of Dyke WI attended the village hall recently to hear Tony Lane speak about History Beneath Your Feet.
He gave a fascinating insight into his metal detecting hobby, explaining the arrangement his club has with landowners and the successes that may be found. He brought with him a huge and diverse array of interesting finds which were beautifully displayed in glass
cabinets.

Members were invited to the next walk in Boston and to an outing arranged by Joy Sherwin in May. Carole Jones and Betty Davies are holding another wardrobe makeover and asked the ladies to start sifting through their wardrobes to make way for the new clothes.

Tickets were on sale for the Bourne Home Economics meeting on March 30, when Christopher Lewis will be the guest speaker.

The next meeting is the annual meeting on March 19. Cheese and wine will be served.
