BOURNE Garden Club met at the Abbey Church Hall on Thursday, February 19, and chairman Janet Stubbs gave out details of the year's trips, which include a visit to Gardeners' World Live at the NEC in Birmingham, and possibly Goltho House at Market Rasen in August.
Members were also reminded that the annual meeting will take place next month with a buffet and quiz.

Speaker for the evening was Tim Rasell, from Rasell's Nursery, Little Bytham, who talked about pruning.

His first lesson was on how to handle secateurs and how to look after them. He came equipped with a good selection of shrubs and gave a talk and demonstration on how to prune almost everything growing in our gardens from shrubs, climbing and rambling roses, wisteria and fruit trees.

Everyone is welcome at the annual meeting at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 19. For further information contact club chairman Janet Stubbs on 01778 422304.
